Happy Holidays!

All my best wishes for a joyful and peaceful holiday season.

Dear Friends,

Happy Holidays! My big publishing news is that The Diary, the next book in the Bitter Creek series has been retitled A Stranger's Game. (This is it, I promise!) The new title reflects the fact that Breed Grayhawk's story is a very sexy thriller. The secondary plot revolves around Kate Grayhawk and Jack McKinley--who will have their own book soon. A Stranger's Game will be in stores in hardcover in March, 2008. It has a great cover, which I'll be posting on my web site. I'll be sending you an e-mail or postcard to let you know the exact date A Stranger's Game will be available. I know many of you prefer to buy my books in paperback, and my publisher has arranged for this hardcover to be discounted in most venues, so it will be affordable.

I'm giving away three advanced reading copies of A Stranger's Game as contest prizes. The three winners will be randomly drawn from all those who submit correct contest entries. The drawing will be held on December 15, 2007. Here are the five questions in the contest:

    1. What is the first Bitter Creek novel in which Breed Grayhawk appears?
    2. What is the first Bitter Creek novel in which Kate Grayhawk appears?
    3. Who did Kate Grayhawk's mother marry?
    4. Why did Jack McKinley stop playing football?
    5. What is the name of Breed Grayhawk's mother?

To enter the contest, go to this CONTEST PAGE and fill out the form with the correct answers.

I have more exciting news! The Bodyguard, a Regency era historical romance, part of my Captive Hearts series, will be reissued in paperback in March, 2008, together with its sequel, The Bridegroom. My publisher allowed me to rewrite The Bodyguard, and I've added new chapters and a brand new ending!

I'll have several other reissues in 2008, including Sister's Found in January, and The Next Mrs. Blackthorne in February. There will an excerpt from A Stranger's Game in the back of The Next Mrs. Blackhthorne.

I'm working right now on the first book in a brand new modern-day series, The Benedicts of Richmond, which will be set in Virginia and Washington, D.C. The hero of the first book, Beau Benedict, is an ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) agent, and the heroine is a trauma therapist. Assassins & Aristrocrats (working title) is filled with family drama, sexy romance and an exciting thriller plot.

Take care and have a happy and healthy holiday season with your family!

Happy Reading
